WAF focuses on enhancing the quality of life for residents in targeted regions including Mtwara, Pwani and Lindi.
How can I support the work of the Wentworth Africa Foundation?

You can support WAF’s mission by pledging a donation. The funds directly contribute to their flagship programs, which include Girls Health and Hygiene initiatives, Physical Libraries and School Renovations, and Education Sponsorship Programmes. You can also sign up for their newsletter to stay updated on their latest projects and impacts.

The KAGiS Program addresses a key barrier to education by providing girls with essential female hygiene products and health education workshops. This prevents them from missing up to 40 days of school each year due to their menstruation, ensuring they can continue their studies uninterrupted.

The Bursary Support Program is designed to increase access to secondary and tertiary education for Tanzanian students. It has supported students at various levels, including secondary school, vocational and technical schools, and university. Many graduates have completed training in skilled trades like tailoring, plumbing, and electrical installations.
